2014 will mark the 24th annual tournament at the stunning grounds of the Royal Holloway College and Bedford New College, situated in the picturesque Surrey countryside and central London is 40 minutes away by train. The tournament site is located just a few miles from Windsor Castle, one of the Queen’s official residences and within reach of the bustling city of London. Many additional activities are offered including a nightly disco, farewell barbeque, sightseeing and daily excursions. Approximately 100 participating teams and it’s excellent location make this a valued tournament choice! 

         

Teams are divided into groups of 4 or 5 with each team playing the other in group games. First and second teams in each group compete in a knock-out competition. The third and fourth teams in each group compete in a plate competition. All teams will play at least 4 matches in the tournament and before their first game, each team must produce a list of players eligible to play along with photographic proof of age. This proof should be available for production at each game played. All matches are played on campus and teams staying on campus have a short walk to the playing fields. Every game is refereed by 3 officials. All matches are of 1 hour duration.

There are 7 grass playing fields on the picturesque grounds of Royal Holloway College. 

The tournament provides a Disco for the players aas well as a Barbeque Party during the course of the week. London Sights including Tower of London, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Downing Street, and Trafalgar Square. London Shopping excursions can include Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Carnaby Street and Harrods. Nearby Windsor Castle and Theme Parks including Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventure are also excellent sightseeing possibilities.
